EcoChill is a nationally recognised refrigeration and HVAC specialist delivering high quality sustainable industrial and commercial solutions throughout New Zealand. We are now looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our Auckland team where you will work across a strong portfolio of supermarket and commercial refrigeration sites.

THE ROLE – WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving commercial refrigeration faults

• Servicing and maintaining supermarket refrigeration plant and rack systems

• Working on CO₂ refrigeration systems

• Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work

• Managing and closing out work orders using service technology

• Supporting apprentices and sharing technical knowledge

• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships

• Prioritising health, safety and environmental best practice

ABOUT YOU

This role will suit those who take pride in the quality and presentation of their work, enjoy problem solving and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You should be confident working independently but value being part of a professional and well-supported service team. To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Required:

• NZQA Level 4 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Qualification (or equivalent)

• EST Practising Licence

• Approved Refrigerant Fillers Licence

• Proven experience working with commercial refrigeration systems

• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capability

• Full, unrestricted New Zealand Driver Licence

Preferable:

• CO₂ refrigeration experience

• Supermarket refrigeration experience
