We’ve got an opportunity available for a project manager with strong supermarket refrigeration experience to oversee and deliver large-scale installation and upgrade projects across the South Island. This is a key leadership role where you’ll manage project delivery from design through to commissioning, while ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction every step of the way.

ABOUT YOU:

You’re a confident and capable project manager with a solid refrigeration background. You thrive in fast-paced environments, have a sharp eye for detail and know how to keep people and projects moving forward.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Manage supermarket refrigeration projects from planning to commissioning
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
• Oversee timelines, budgets and compliance with health and safety standards
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Provide technical expertise to support high-quality installation and commissioning

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Proven experience in project management within the refrigeration industry, ideally in supermarket or large-scale commercial environments
• Trade Certificate or better in a mechanical trade
• Technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems (design, installation, commissioning)
• 5+ years experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Full, clean, current drivers licence
• Aotearoa NZ Residency or Citizenship or a valid open work visa
• Experience in dealing with external customers and operating off site
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate technicians, subcontractors and suppliers
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to health & safety best practice and delivering projects on time and within budget
